Oil is getting CHEAPER!

You've had a taste of both sides of the argument. Remember, the focus of this is to explain why diesel is important to energy independence of this nation. Some of you may be lulled into a false sense of security by the decline in the cost of oil. I have to caution you against that. Oil is arguably the most volatile resource on the market. The facts have not changed: fossil fuels are a finite resource that will run out, countries like China are increasing their demand for oil while we are continuing to consume a large amount ourselves. Russia is also a concern. They did not invade Georgia for no reason. In fact, Georgia has one of the major energy pipe lines to Europe. The sleeping giant may be waking and it is hungry.

What does this have to do with diesel. Check out my last post and you will see why it is more economical to use diesel. Do not forget the ability to use biodiesel with regular diesel engines.

My next post is going to analyze, in detail, the need to use combustion engines now and in the future. I will also address the arguments presented by the opposition.
